This week we harvested our garden. Some amazing brocolli and cauliflower that we planted in Term 1 was ready, so William and Greer prepared it along with a yummy cheese sauce! We also have celery, cabbage, spinach and silverbeet to eat.
Well done Room 5. It's a great thing to be able to grow your own food. It looked delicious. The funniest thing was when someone found a boiled caterpillar!

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed caring for the plants in the garden, also then pulling them out and eating the vegtibals. We then made cheese sauce. It was yum!!
ReplyDeleteIt was delicious I had enjoyed it I wish we could have it again one time! Next time the cheese sauce might be a little bit runnier, instead of thick.
ReplyDeleteThe catapiler was attached to the broccili by a webbish sticky thread that made the broccili taste yuck.
