Our inquiry topic for the second half of Term 4 is milk! We will be approaching this topic from a scientific perspective, where we will learn about the physical properties of milk, and what material changes take place when milk is made into other products such as cream, butter, cheese, yoghurt and ice cream. We began our inquiry by brainstorming everything we knew about milk, and then conducted an experiment where we attempted to identify 5 different types of millk by using our senses. The objective was to predict which milks had the most fat. Here are a few photos from our investigation, our brainstorming word cloud:

ReplyDeleteI loved to taste test the milk. Also the biggest milk spill of that day was when Bradley knocked over one of the testing cups and milk went everywhere!
