WEATHER EXPERIMENTS

We conducted a number of small experiments during our Weather Inquiry. These included creating a tornado in a jar (this is known as a vortex), making a cloud in a bottle (decreasing the air pressure causes moisture to condense on particles of dust left from a burned match), and observing how water evaporated from a glass placed in a cupboard.
