Happy Campers! |
Room 5 spent 2 days and 2 nights on camp this week. This was a great opportunity for the children to get to know each other, and their new teacher Mr Ricketts.
Each day commenced with an early morning boot camp style run
followed by a plunge into the pool and a few lengths. Other outdoor activities
included team games such as ‘The Amazing Race’, flippa-ball and capture the
flag. Patter-tennis was the most popular activity during free time.
We also used camp as an opportunity to: examine our personal
traits; create a class code of conduct; produce some artwork; show our creative abilities in our own ‘Room 5’s got Talent’ show; and even try our hand at some baking.
Camp has been a fantastic experience and we now look forward
to our week-long camp at Sixtus Lodge in October!
It looks like you all had a great time on camp Rm5 and I hear Mr Ricketts got rather wet at some point.
