For the literacy component of our inquiry into Maoritanga, students were given the opportunity to choose from a variety of independent reading and writing activities. Each task involved researching, summarising and publishing using the writting process. Finished work could then be presented orally, visually or in the form of text published in writing or using computers. Here is a selection of some completed work. In Term 2 we commence our second inquiry for the year - the theme is Ancient Egypt!
