Room 5 have been reading written texts (books) and watching visual texts (videos) to learn about volcanoes and earthquakes. We have been improving our research skills and learning how to re-write the information we have found in our own words using note-taking and note-making. This has been done in groups, in pairs and as individuals. We've also presented our findings to the class as a 'mini-speech'. Here are some examples of our written work:
