Room 5 'Mathletes' Excel

 Today Halcombe School's 'Maths Athletes' competed in the Manawatu Mathex compettion at Awapuni Racecourse. Over 40 schools participated. After much practice with Mrs Simpson the teams headed off to the competition well prepared and ready to give it their best shot! All our teams performed superbly and made us proud. Here are our amazing results:
 
Year 5: 2nd
Year 6: 7th
Year 7: 7th
Year 8: 3rd

    Well done year 5 and year 6 students you all did extremely well and in the top 10 Seeing Year 5 students stand up front for coming 2nd I was so proud of being a parent of Catherine and her team who did extremely well on the day Kai Pai Yvonne Pene
