SENIOR SCHOOL SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS

Friday saw the Senior School Swimming Championships finally get underway at the Makino indoor pool. The races were hotly contested, with some brilliant racing and amazing sportsmanship shown by competitors and spectators. Room 5 students performed superbly, with Jensen winning the Junior Boys Championship Trophy, and Lydia winning the Junior Girls Championship Trophy. Greer was second. Mighty Matai won the prestigious house relays in both the Junior and Senior divisions, as well as the overall house prize!
