Buddy Class Art



On our visit to Whanganui Museum, Room 5 also learned to make a small taonga puoro called a porotiti. We decided to share our learning with our Buddy Class. In pairs we used a template to cut the shape out of thick cardboard, then we drilled some small holes for the string, and finally we helped our Room 2 buddies to select and draw some maori art design on them. We really enjoyed passing on our knowledge!
