The Palmerston North Rescue Chopper buzzed into school today to collect a donation that the Halcombe School Council had raised for them. The crew explained how they fly around the region helping people in need, and answered a number of questions. We all got to take a close up look at the helicopter before they flew off on another mission!

They do a wonderful job. Danielle's oldest brother Richard saw it first hand on the weekend. We were very grateful for their help.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting when the Rescue Helicopter dropped in! Good on you for supporting the fundraising that the Student Council does, so we can donate money to such a worthwhile cause.
