Exhibit 1 - Pet Rocks
The idea for pet rocks was created in California in the 1970s. The first pet rocks were just grey stones, without eyes, that lived in a cardboard box filled with straw! We'll be creating our own pet rocks. They can be grey or coloured, with facial expressions and eyes. They can even be in the form of animals or other imaginative creatures.
Exhibit 2 - Picture frames
We will be creating a colourful picture frame which will include printed designs. We'll be using the polystyrene food trays to create the prints. The designs will have a coastal theme, so that we can use them to frame photographic images we will be creating on our return from Castlepoint Camp. Trays are due at school on Monday 20th.
