ICARUS ART

                                      

We learned about the Greek Myth of Icarus and Daedalus, who flew using feathers and wax. Unfortunately, despite his dad's warnings, Icarus flew too close to the sun and his wax melted! This story inspired our art project. We learned how to sketch hands and wings, and dripped melted wax on our artwork. Here are some of the finished masterpieces!
